Hi, I'm Julia Hinojos!

I am a artist, Illustrator, and graphic designer from the Southwest. I say artist first because I began to draw and paint at a young age, and continued into adulthood. During collage I was encouraged to leave my studies in graphic design, because I was told that life as an artist was fruitless. Never leave what your heart wants, because it will always call you back to it, I learned later on. I returned to complete my second collage degree, but this time in Digital Art. Graduating in 2016, from Pima Community College, in Tucson, Arizona. I was encouraged by my husband to finish and do what I love. Also, I was encouraged by my instructor, department head, Dennis Landry, that no one is never too old, and that I had everything it took to be a good designer. I took that to heart. Dennis passed away unexpectedly shortly after I graduated and moved to New Mexico. I never got to say good bye but his words always are in my mind, don't let fear stop you. Thank you Dennis.
